"These aren't the directors you're looking for..."

Lucasfilm have announced that former directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller have left the forthcoming Han Solo movie. Lucasfilm president, Kathleen Kennedy, said there were 'different creative visions' for the movie. A new director will be announced shortly.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller issued the following statement:

"Unfortunately, our vision and process weren't aligned with our partners on this project. We normally aren't fans of the phrase 'creative differences' but for once this cliché is true. We are really proud of the amazing and world-class work of our cast and crew."

The Han Solo movie features Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo and Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, and is due for release on 25th May 2018.
